I chose to do a quiz and a rubric for art in an elementary classroom. Since, our public schools are reducing and in some cases completely eliminating Art in the classroom curriculum, I decided to dream with my eyes open and focus on creating Art in the classroom. I logged in and searched under both class and quiz, but nothing came up using the title you provided. Do you truly like true/false questions or was this a simple approach to learn about e-quizzes?

I really like your rubric. It is very thorough. I felt that a true/false quiz didn’t best fit your rubric. I felt that perhaps you would want to challenge your students with questions that allowed the students to ellaborate their understanding of the subject matter, allowing them to use some of their critical higher thinking skills.

Rafleckt,
I actually started of with a multiple chose test, but found my sentences to be a little complicated for 1st and 2nd (maybe) graders. I will keep your suggestions in mind. I could use this type of quiz for the upper elementary grades.

I had to spend some finding it as well. I know it is not Noemi’s doing. It is just the way QuizStar does things. I had to make a serious investment to figure out how they do things on their website. I ended up doing a quiz title search for “All About Diego Rivera” (no quotes). That brought up Noemi’s quiz. I have always disliked true or false quizzes. It always seems like quiz designers create false statements by changing a word instead of actually changing the whole thought. If the statement looks accurate and I miss the “not” that someone threw in, I am wrong. Also, haven’t you noticed, if the question has the words most of the time or frequently in it, then it is true. If you see never, false is always a good answer.
